She holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, and a Master of Natural Resources and Graduate Certificate in GIS from North Carolina State University. Adina's research is focused on children's use of pathways. While working for NLI, she has recently been involved in the preparation of the guidebook, Pathways for Play. As a mother of two children, she was involved in a parent-cooperative preschool, and many volunteer activities including Girl Scouts. A native of Northern California, she spent much of her childhood wondering freely around redwood trees and huckleberry bushes. When she is not at work or in class she enjoys camping and hiking with her teenagers, who almost never complain.
